Why DeAndre Hopkins Can Lead You to Fantasy Glory

If you didn’t draft DeAndre Hopkins, two things: firstly, shame on you. Secondly, good luck with convincing another fantasy football player to trade him away. At the start of the season, you’d have had fine odds on Hopkins racking up the most receiving yards in the National Football League but the Texans wideout is very much in the mix, despite Houston playing unconvincing quarterback Brian Hoyer for the majority of the campaign.

In fact, most bookmakers – including Betway – would have probably given you exceptional odds on Hopkins being the league’s leading receiver this season. Prior to the opening game of the year, Hopkins wasn’t priced in the top ten of the betting. With hindsight, that’s phenomenal value.

Similarly, he was drafted in the third round of most NFL fantasy drafts and those who drafted him found an incredible bargain. He’s certainly helped to cover the losses of running backs Le’Veon Bell and Jamaal Charles for a number of fantasy players throughout the year. Hopkins is simply unstoppable at times and on current form, he stand a great chance of finishing as the highest scoring receiver on fantasy football.
