Week 3 Waiver Wire Targets

We’re two weeks in and injuries and performance questions have us running for waiver wire gems this week. It’s still early and those studs who have gotten off to a slow start have plenty of time to bounce back. That said, there are plenty of guys out on the waiver wire worth grabbing.

Here’s a look at players to target on the Week 3 Waiver Wire. Good luck!

Derek Carr (QB, Oakland Raiders)

Carr managed to play in Week 2 and delivered a shocker in Oakland. He had a monster day throwing for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns. It was nice to see him finally making some connections with rookie Amari Cooper. The jury is still out on Carr, but things are looking up after a solid week. He’s worth keeping an eye on and could be worth adding in two QB leagues or if you need help at the position.

Tyrod Taylor (QB, Buffalo Bills)

Rex loves him and he seems like the real deal. Despite the Week 2 loss, Taylor showed again that he has potential to be a viable fantasy QB option week to week. The interceptions aren’t good, but he’s putting up passing yards and TDs. Plus, he’s able to get those rushing QB bonus points. He won’t put up over 20 fantasy points every week, but he has the potential for big games.
