UFC 192: What Happened?

Written by Brock Hebner at No Coast Bias

This past Saturday the UFC entered the Toyota Center in Houston, TX and put on a tale of 2 cards, and a title fight for the ages.

So what exactly happened? Down below we’ll be answering some questions as well as some other observations, so let’s get to it.

Question: Can Sage Northcutt live up to the hype?

It sure seems that way. It’s hard to make a full judgment on a fighter after 1 fight, but boy did this kid look great. Do you hear that? That’s the sound of the Sage Northcutt hype training coming your way at full speed.

He’s extremely quick and agile, he’s super athletic, and put on a show against Francisco Trevino. Not even a minute into the fight and Trevino threw a kick and slipper, and ‘Super’ Sage took full advantage and threw a barrage of elbows and punches until Trevino fell, and referee Herb Deen had seen enough.

This kid has serious potential to be successful. He’s got an appealing look, he’s very exciting to watch, he’s super humble in the cage, and oh yeah, he’s only 19.

As it stands right now, the sky is the limit for this kid. It’ll be interesting to see where the UFC goes with him, knowing his potential.
