Ronda Rousey, the biggest star in the UFC, and arguably the biggest star in all of female sport, was set to defend her title against decorated boxing and kickboxing star, Holly Holm.

The expectation for this fight was another 30 second finish from Rousey, and for her legacy to continue as the greatest female fighter we’ve ever seen, and then one thing happened that she’s really never truly experienced before.

She got punched in the face.

As the great Mike Tyson once said, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” and that couldn’t be anymore of the truth as it pertains to this fight.
