MLB stars to compete in charity Fortnite tournament with gamers, fans

The suspension of the 2020 MLB season has taken away the yearly tradition of Jackie Robinson Day. Fortunately, MLB players and managers have found a way to honor Jackie Robinson’s legacy in a unique way and will be raising money for a great cause on Wednesday.

New York Mets first baseman Dominic Smith, Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito and Atlanta Braves pitcher Max Fried will be among a handful of MLB stars joining with pro gamers and fans in a Fortnite tournament on Wednesday. The event, which will be broadcast on Twitch, will benefit the Jackie Robinson Foundation.
