5) Youthful Innocence 

There’s something about a young fighter in the octagon that just exudes confidence. Perhaps it’s that the glass hasn’t been shattered yet. For some reason though, it is really difficult to be the one to shatter that glass. Paige has a lot of confidence when she steps into the cage, some of this being due to her youthful innocence, and that’s an intangible that makes many hard to beat.

4) Hype Machine

Some consider the hype people have behind them as pressure. However, many fighters rise to the occasion when there is constant talk about how great they are going to be. Paige being around Team Alpha Male has seen plenty of the spotlight and learned from the best how to deal with it. As a result, I see her support being a big confidence builder in the cage.

3) Experience

Despite the fact that she’s seen as the baby face of the women’s strawweight division, she actually has quite the experience advantage in this fight. Sure, Namajunas had a fight for the belt, but apart from that Tecia Torres is her only big name opponent in her other four fights. Not only has Paige fought Torres, but has six additional wins under her belt.
