This week, 8Ball is down one. Marc takes over hosting duties as Mike is “on assignment”. In his stead, we welcome back Carl McDowell from HBO’s Ballers. We begin the show with the Cleveland Indians extending their win streak. How do they compare to the recently listless LA Dodgers? What are some of baseball’s most impressive streaks?
Act 2 starts with Carl’s projects. He tells us what he’s up to while he’s not shooting Ballers. What exactly is Tom Gun (not a typo). We move on to starting rookie QB’s over high paid veterans in the NFL. Good idea or not? Then we transition seamlessly into the sleeping and scatological habits of koalas. The Act wraps up with a little Sergio Dipp.
In Act 3 we focus on college football. Baker Mayfield plants the University of OK flag into Ohio States turf. Kirb Herbstreit gets into a Twitter war with teenagers and possibly messes up Ohio State’s recruiting. We finally get around to discussing Mike’s absence and what he might be doing and what Eric will be doing this weekend.
