We celebrate Eric’s birthday this week. We review our first “Best of” show. After patting ourselves on the back, we move on to the benching of Giant’s QB, Eli Manning. What’s behind it? What does it mean for the Giants and for Eli? That evolves into NFL rivalries. Do they matter anymore? Has free agency killed traditional rivalries? And what the hell are dough eyes?
Act 2
This segment is dominated by the Iron Bowl and NCAA football playoffs. Who is in (for now), who is out (for now), and what are the chances for chaos? And has the University of Tennessee completely screwed up its coaching search? And why will Eric name his first child Jim Bob Cooter Rosenbaum?
Act 3
In the final act, we discuss the layoffs at ESPN and Fox Sports. How is the sports viewing landscape changing? That seamlessly transitions to Matt Lauer and other big TV names being fired for sexual harassment. How deep does this issue go? Then Eric gets serious for a minute. Teach Jim Bob Cooter Rosenbaum well. We discuss plans for season two and ask for some listener direction and input.
