ODB and Josh Norman Still At It

So much for a cease-fire.

Though Josh Norman told The Post six days ago he was done talking about Odell Beckham Jr., the Redskins cornerback had some highly provocative rivalry fodder up his sleeve, saying the Giants wide receiver is in for a “rough” year.

“Everybody saw what he was,” Norman said in the latest issue of ESPN the Magazine, referring to the infamous Dec. 20 game against the Panthers, in which Beckham was called for three personal fouls involving Norman, with constant trash talk and confrontations becoming the story of the game. “People from around the league were coming up to me afterward and saying, ‘He does that crap all the time.’ He lost so much respect from people for that little tantrum.

“I’ve already got a couple people telling me, ‘OK, I’ve got a hit out on him.’ It’s going to be rough for him this year. And he brought it on himself.”

Asked about Norman’s latest salvo on Tuesday, Beckham said, “I’m really here to focus on the New York Giants. Anything that doesn’t really have to do with us or my teammates … if you want to talk about Rashad Jennings’ charity events and what Mark Herzlich does for the community, I would love to. Anything other than that, it’s just football.”

It was an offseason full of jabs between the two rivals who will face each other twice this season after Norman was cut loose by the Panthers and signed a five-year, $75 million deal with Washington. Norman said Beckham was “crazy.” Beckham said Norman was only relevant because of him.

“He’s skilled and talented,” Norman said. “I won’t take that away from him. But he’s never been through any adversity in his life. It’s like, when are you ever going to grow up?”

Norman didn’t just trash Beckham in the story. He called himself the “best cornerback on the Earth,” and blasted the Giants for his pre-draft meeting with them.

“They were trying to get me to admit that I wouldn’t listen to coaching,” he said. “That I was a dirtbag. They kept asking me the same question, wanting me to admit to something I didn’t do. I ended up breaking down in the room.”
