Lebron James to Leave Cleveland?

Written by Nick Petrusevski at ShowtimeSports.com

LeBron James surprised a lot of people when he decided to leave Cleveland (his home town) in 2010. He surprised even more people when he decided to come back to Cleveland after spending four seasons in Miami.

LeBron vowed that he would win a championship for the city of Cleveland. He claimed that Miami was like “college” for him and most of all he was sorry for how he left, Remember? That whole big decision broadcast that was on ESPN.

Lately, it seems like LeBron is up to his old tricks. LeBron was unfollowed the Cleveland Cavaliers on Twitter. The whole story can be read here: http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2016/03/lebron_james_unfollowed_the_ca.html

Now, most people want to say that means nothing and blah, blah, blah, but in today’s world social media tells a story. Tells a story of who you really are as a person whether people like it or not.

The thing that makes this story more interesting is that when LeBron was asked about unfollowing the Cavaliers on Twitter he had no comment.

Many people defended LeBron, saying he did something similar during last year’s playoffs. LeBron was reportedly on a media “blackout.” Where he decided to stay off social media in order to focus on the playoffs.

However, soon after unfollowed the Cavaliers on Twitter he Tweeted that he was going to join Snapchat. So, it doesn’t seem like LeBron will be shutting down his social media for this year’s playoffs.

Let be honest, the Cavaliers are not a good team. Are they good enough to win the east? Absolutely, but are they the same caliber team as the Spurs or Warriors? No. Kevin Love has become a corner three point shooter and Kyrie Irving is all over the place.

If the Cavaliers get to the Finals most people would expect them to lose to either the Spurs or Warriors. That would make LeBron 2-5 in the Finals and his frustration would be at an All-Time high.
