With his 1,851th career point Monday, Florida Panthers forward Jaromir Jagr passed Gordie Howe for third place on the NHL’s all-time scoring list.

Mark Messier is second on the list with 1,887 points. Wayne Gretzky is the League’s all-time career points leader with 2,857.

With his 742nd NHL goal against the Winnipeg Jets on Feb. 20, Jagr passed Hockey Hall of Fame member Brett Hull for third place on the League’s all-time list in that department.

Jagr, 44, has played for eight NHL teams during 22 seasons.

He’s a seven-time First-Team NHL All-Star, five-time Art Ross Trophy winner, 1999 Hart Trophy winner, 2006 Ted Lindsay Award winner, and two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1991 and 1992.

The charismatic Czech has more than two decades of memorable dates on his resume.

June 16, 1990: The Pittsburgh Penguins select Jagr in the first round (No. 5) of the 1990 NHL Draft, held at BC Place in Vancouver.

Oct. 7, 1990: Jagr scores his first NHL goal in a 7-4 win against the New Jersey Devils. His first NHL assist comes two weeks later, Oct. 19 against the Buffalo Sabres.

Apr. 5, 1991: Jagr finishes his rookie season with 27 goals and 30 assists in 80 games, and finishes sixth in voting for the Calder Memorial Trophy. He helps the Penguins make the Stanley Cup Playoffs after they missed it the previous season.

May 25, 1991: The Penguins win the Stanley Cup for the first time, defeating the Minnesota North Stars in six games. Jagr finishes the postseason with three goals and 10 assists in 24 games, including five points, all assists, during the Stanley Cup Final.

June 1, 1992: Pittsburgh wins the Stanley Cup for the second consecutive season by defeating the Chicago Blackhawks in four games. Jagr finishes with 11 goals and 13 assists in 21 postseason games, and tied for the lead among players in even-strength goals with nine.
