5 Reasons to Watch the Worst 5 Teams in Baseball in 2016

The 2015 Major League Baseball season is over, and now all 30 teams have their sights set on the 2016 campaign. Of course, some teams are more hopeful that others as 2016 approaches – and some aren’t very hopeful at all. But no matter how lousy your team is in 2016, there will be some reason to watch them. Don’t believe us? We’ll prove it.

Your team: Atlanta Braves
How unwatchable will they be? The 2016 Braves are a war crime. Their front office should be put on trialat the Hague.
But you should watch them anyway, because of: Mallex Smith. The Braves have a bunch of pitching prospects, but they haven’t looked quite as exciting lately as this outfielder and leadoff hitter has. He’s got speed and he makes contact quite well. What more could you ask for in a leadoff hitter?

Your team: Cincinnati Reds
How unwatchable will they be? Ahhh! My Eyes!
But you should watch them anyway, because of: Jesse Winker. The Cincinnati Reds need a left fielder who isn’t terrible, and they may have an internal solution in the form of their 22-year-old outfield prospect. He’ll be one of the youngest guys on a rebuilding team, and means a lot of eyes will be on him. You’re not signing Justin Upton, Cincy fans, so enjoy watching your young players develop.
