DraftKings NFL Values: Week 7

Written by Kevin Thomas at No Coast Bias

Below I will highlight a few guys that I perceive will provide value for their price on DraftKings for Week 7 in the NFL.

Quarterback:

Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals ($6,600): Carson Palmer is again underpriced this week as the 7thhighest priced QB despite having the 4th best fantasy points per game with 22.2 points. He has a great matchup this week at home against the Ravens. Baltimore’s pass defense is in the bottom half in the league allowing 65.3% completion percentage (21st), 286 passing yards per game (27th), and 8.2 yards per attempt (29th). Palmer has been an exceptional 50/50 play each week with a minimum of 18.34 fantasy points per week. Start Palmer with confidence.

Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers ($6,500): Another good option at Quarterback this week is Philip Rivers. In his last 3 games, Rivers is averaging 28.31 fantasy points per game. The Chargers have struggled running the football and have allowed Rivers to lead the league in passing yards a game at 353 yards. Rivers should put up his regular numbers at home against a Raiders team that is average against the pass and excels against the run. Take advantage of Rivers being the 9th most expensive quarterback this week.

Running back:

Todd Gurley, St, Louis Rams ($5,000): Everyone and their mothers are going to have Gurley in their lineups this week so you should too. Gurley is somehow the 12th most expensive running back this week after averaging over 25 touches a game his last two games. Gurley is the lead back for the Rams and is going to be fed against the poor Cleveland rush defense. The Browns have given up the most rushing yards a game this season of any team in the NFL at 149.8 yards per game and the second worst yards per rush attempt with 5.0 yards per carry. Fire up Gurley and watch his ownership percentage be easily over 50%.

Lamar Miller, Miami Dolphins ($4,600): Miller finally got the amount of touches we had been expecting all season with 21 touches for 118 yards and a touchdown last week. It appears that the Dolphins coaching change has helped Miller’s value and rejuvenated the Dolphins running game. Miller should continue his upward swing against the average Texans rush defense. The Texans are exactly middle of the pack allowing 109 rushing yards per game, but have allowed 6 rushing touchdowns already, good for 5th most in the league. Take advantage of Miller’s low price tag, before it goes up in the coming weeks.
