As has been expected following the club’s first-round playoff exit via a sweep at the hands of the Boston Celtics, the Philadelphia 76ers fired coach Brett Brown on Monday.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news and added that general manager Elton Brand will explore changes within the franchise’s front office while he continues to oversee basketball operations.
