NFL won’t play any games in London in 2020?

The NFL is expected to release its full schedule for 2020 on May 9, and it will likely look much different than we imagined. One significant change that will reportedly be included is the relocation of any games that were originally supposed to take place overseas.

According to a report from Matt Hughes of the Daily Mail, one of the reasons Premier League soccer team Tottenham is having financial issues is that its new stadium will not be hosting two NFL games next season. The two games that were scheduled to be held at Wembley Stadium are also expected to be relocated to the United States. Hughes writes that playing NFL games in London this season is “not feasible.”

The NFL remains committed to playing a full 16-game season, even though some believe the start of it will be postponed. The offseason schedule has already been altered with some teams holding organized team activities virtually, and it remains to be seen if training camp will be impacted.
