11. New York Jets: Team Needs = LT, WR, EDGE, CB, IOL
Selection – CeeDee Lamb, WR Oklahoma
The Jets need a big time, number 1 receiver and they find one in CeeDee. This is a deep wide receiver class, but after Lamb and Jeudy, it starts to drop off a bit. Wide receiver is a big position of need for the Jets and CeeDee is as close to a sure pick as you can get.
12. Las Vegas Raiders: Team Needs = LB, WR, CB, S, IDL
Selection – Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama
The Raiders are also in need of a big time, number 1 receiver and they find one in Jeudy. He will fit very well in the Gruden/Mayock system and won’t cause nearly the problems Antonio Brown did in the first few weeks with the Raiders last year. What a disaster!
13. San Francisco 49’ers (from Indianapolis): Team Needs = S, CB, WR, IDL, IOL
Selection – Xavier McKinney, S Alabama
The Niners already have a stellar defense and Xavier McKinney will only make them better. He is known for his high football IQ and toughness. He went up against some great wide receivers in the SEC and made them pay. He is the top Safety prospect in this class.
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Team Needs = OT, IDL, S, RB
Selection – Mekhi Becton, OL Louisville
After landing the coveted, top free agent Tom Brady, the Bucs need to protect the old man and keep him up right. Mekhi Becton has a huge frame wth surprisingly nimble feet. He can play both left and right tackle. He will be a good starter for years to come if he can keep his weight in check.
15. Denver Broncos: Team Needs = WR, LB, OT, CB, IDL
Selection – Isaiah Simmons, LB Clemson
I don’t think the best rating LB will drop this far, but it could happen. The Broncos would not hesitate in selecting Simmons. He is very versatile and would be an immediate upgrade. He’s played three positions very well at Clemson, (slot corner, linebacker and safety). He can also be effective playing spy with a dual threat QB, if the situation presents itself.
