Here’s what you need to know about the 2023 Heisman Trophy Award Ceremony

Here are the top five Heisman Trophy front runners this year:

  1. Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington: Penix Jr. has been one of the most efficient quarterbacks in college football this season, completing 69.1% of his passes for 2,913 yards and 26 touchdowns with just four interceptions. He has also rushed for 447 yards and five touchdowns. Penix Jr. is leading the Huskies to a 9-2 record this season and is a big reason why they are in contention for a Pac-12 championship.
  2. Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU: Daniels has been a breakout star for LSU this season, throwing for 2,626 yards and 22 touchdowns with six interceptions. He has also rushed for 397 yards and five touchdowns. Daniels is leading the Tigers to a 7-4 record this season and is a big reason why they are still in contention for an SEC West title.
  3. Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State: Harrison Jr. has been one of the most electrifying playmakers in college football this season, catching 58 passes for 1,005 yards and 12 touchdowns. He is averaging 17.3 yards per catch and has scored a touchdown in eight of the Buckeyes’ nine games this season. Harrison Jr. is a big reason why Ohio State is the No. 1 team in the country and is a leading contender to win the College Football Playoff.
  4. Jordan Travis, QB, Florida State: Travis has been a key part of Florida State’s resurgence this season, throwing for 1,797 yards and 17 touchdowns with five interceptions. He has also rushed for 536 yards and six touchdowns. Travis is leading the Seminoles to a 7-4 record this season and is a big reason why they are in contention for an ACC Atlantic Division title.
  5. Bo Nix, QB, Oregon: Nix has been a steady presence for Oregon this season, throwing for 2,444 yards and 17 touchdowns with eight interceptions. He has also rushed for 370 yards and five touchdowns. Nix is leading the Ducks to a 7-4 record this season and is a big reason why they are in contention for a Pac-12 championship.

The Heisman ballots are distributed, Monday, November 27th.

The voting deadline is Monday, December 4th.

The finalists will be announced Monday, December 4th.

The 2023 Heisman Trophy ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 9th @ 8pm on ESPN.

There are 928 electors — 870 college football media members, 57 living Heisman winners and one overall fan vote.
