Mitchell Robinson Will Return to Western Kentucky

McDonald’s All-American Mitchell Robinson — who left Western Kentucky’s campus last month, asked for a release from the school and subsequently visited LSU, Kansas and New Orleans — is now expected to return to WKU and enroll for the Fall semester this week, WBKO.com reported Sunday.

To be clear, until Robinson actually returns to Western Kentucky and enrolls again, this will remain a fluid situation with no guarantees. But multiple industry sources told CBS Sports over the past week that, given the options currently on the table, Robinson’s smartest move, at this point, was always to return to WKU. So, if nothing else, it appears the New Orleans native has at least received that message.
