Four-time Pro Bowler J.J. Watt is the latest athlete to take a shot at Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball’s family brand, Big Baller Brand (BBB).
Watt subtweeted BBB and Ball on Thursday while promoting his new Reebok shoes that release at midnight. The Texans defensive end wrote that his shoes are “400 dollars less than some shoes on the market and 100% more effective.”
BBB shoes are priced at $495, and Ball chose to wear Nikes in a recent Summer League game, which led some to believe that the BBB sneakers weren’t of high enough quality to wear on the court (thoughit could’ve been just a marketing ploy).

Watt followed that up with another tweet saying he actually wears his shoes.

However, what all these well-known athletes taking jabs at Big Baller Brand might not realize is they’re giving BBB more attention and fame just by calling them out. The Ball family continues to be on all of these people’s minds.
